How to Master the NEAR Wallet Tracker

Our team has been hard at work to launch the first of its kind NEAR Wallet Tracker! It packs a powerful suite of tools that make it the most user-friendly and feature-rich wallet tracker on the market.

Our goal at UniWhales is to help you become self-reliant so you can make smart decisions in Web3.

Imagine being an apprentice, watching masters at their craft. Attain mastery by investigating and tracking on-chain transactions of smart wallets.

The best part? Our Wallet Tracker doesn’t cost a thing to use. You can monitor up to 10 wallets for free using the NEAR Wallet Tracker, while UniWhales Pro and Whale tier subscribers have unlimited wallet tracking.

By interacting with the NEAR Wallet Tracker Telegram bot, you can set up and filter noteworthy wallets in just a few clicks. From keeping tabs on your own on-chain activity to watching what the whales and influencers are up to, the NEAR Wallet Tracker does it all.

We also solve one of the most frustrating parts of NFT and DeFi alerts: spam transactions. Our team continuously upgrades our bot to filter as many spam transactions as possible.

Like any software, however, our tracker is only as good as the data it is supplied. The wallets, bridges, DEXs, and influencers you track are your prerogative, but with so much happening in the cryptosphere, it can be hard to know where to start.

What do you follow…and what do you omit? In this guide to mastering the NEAR Wallet Tracker, we’ll cover:

  • Basic setup: selecting chains, addresses and transaction types to follow
  • Filtering: reducing noise based on TX type to ensure every alert is relevant
  • Advanced usage: how to get the most out of the Wallet Tracker

Getting Started

You can set up your own NEAR Wallet Tracker on Telegram by interacting with the bot.

You’ll receive an alert any time an address you included interacts on the NEAR chain. The NEAR Wallet Tracker has been trained to omit spam transactions, but there’ll still be some that slip through the net.

Click on the NEAR Wallet Tracker in Telegram and press the Menu button. You should see this:

Press the +Add button to add your first wallet address.

You’ll now be prompted to enter the address of the first wallet you wish to track followed by the name you want to assign.

In our example, we’ve entered the smart contract address of a top REF Finance yield farmer.

Hit Return to send the message to the bot and that’s it: your first wallet address is activated. To add more wallets, simply repeat the process.

Optional: add a wallet with 1 click bypassing the menu. In the bot type:

/add username.near

Editing Your Choices

To keep tabs on the wallets you’re tracking and to update their parameters, click the List button in the NEAR Wallet Tracker channel.

You’ll see something like this:

To edit the wallet’s name and filters, click the blue edit hyperlink. Then follow the prompts to update your settings:

“Edit filters” allows you to toggle alerts for DeFi, NFT, and other events

What to Track

Every day, hundreds of thousands of transactions occur across the leading blockchains. The NEAR Wallet Tracker gives you the power to monitor all of these transactions in real-time as they are recorded.

To avoid getting overwhelmed by notifications, you’ll need to whittle your selection down to the most important addresses only. Aside from personal wallets, you may wish to follow any of the following:

  • NEAR addresses so you can follow known influencer wallets
  • Pool addresses e.g. you can track any swaps that are made with a specific pair (“wNEAR-ETH”)
  • Addresses of large token holders, so you can watch what whales are doing and how it affects your portfolio
  • Foundation / treasury wallets to track team and investor unlocks
  • NFT mints so you can monitor how many users are minting a specific NFT drop

In the coming weeks, we’ll be pushing out tips to aid the discovery of high volume and important DeFi and NFT wallets.

Identify Smart Wallets with our NEAR Bridge Tracker

You can identify whales and smart wallets on other chains and link their NEAR address via the UniWhales Rainbow bridge tracker connecting Ethereum to NEAR addresses.

We have automated this process to save you a tremendous amount of time.

Once you’ve identified a wallet of interest, you can add their wallet address to our NEAR Wallet Tracker bot by following the instructions mentioned above.

UniWhales members also get access to our ‘VC Deals’ channel. Our members found the NEAR address of an investor, and tracked their activity on the Burrow Protocol.

You can see a demo here: https://twitter.com/mattaaron/status/1533120370554839040

Our bot supports NEAR protocol activities on Ref Finance, Burrow.Cash, MetaPool, Paras ID, and more!

Enable Group Mode to Share Alerts

At UniWhales, we’re always making bold bets. The best part of our DAO is having a squad learning together and exploring Web3.

We’re super excited to launch our ‘Group Mode’ feature for the NEAR chain. You can curate and share on-chain alpha with your friends and community.

This is a great tool for DAOs and community managers in Web3, on-chain analysts and teams, and groups of friends minting and trading NFTs together.

Notice an interesting transaction from your favorite whale? Share it with your community. You’ll save them hours of research and confusion.

You can also track your favorite collections and specific NFT traders. Our tracking bot monitors all NFT transactions. Always be in the know on what’s in or out.

Moreover, you can monitor and get alerts on your treasury wallets and DEX pools. Get it all in one place to make sure there are no malicious activities.

To enable this feature, click on Menu, followed by ‘Group messages’

You should see the following:

Click on ‘Add to group’, and select the Telegram group you want to add the wallet tracker bot to.

Once selected, the Telegram group in question will start to receive notifications. You can disable it by clicking on ‘Disable group messages’.

Have Your Say

Is there a network or feature you’d like to see added to the Wallet Tracker? You can submit feedback and bug reports using this form. Regular user feedback is essential in helping us improve the Wallet Tracker to ensure it remains the best product of its kind.

That’s it!

Now you’ll be able to take advantage of all the features of our advanced NEAR Wallet Tracker.

What about our pro/whale members?

In the coming weeks, for UniWhales Pro and Whale members, the Wallet Tracker provides unlimited wallets and advanced filtering options for greater precision.

For example, it’s possible to set a minimum transaction size for swaps and other on-chain activity.

This means that you’ll only be notified of meaningful trades executed by wallets you’re following.

Privacy Policy: The Wallet Tracker only collects anonymized data for aggregated analysis. Personal data on users of the Wallet Tracker, such as wallet labels and addresses, is not collected and stored. Anonymously collected aggregated data is used solely to gauge overall DeFi/NFT activity and improve the accuracy of the Wallet Tracker. All data used by the Wallet Tracker is fully encrypted and is not made available to third parties.
